Youth Climbing Programs

Encourage your child to fall in love with climbing.

Summit offers the best team environment for kids to learn, grow, and perform, no matter their current ability or age.  During practice, kids work with peers to improve their climbing movement,  fitness and problem solving skills. They also become part of a group that’s inclusive and focused on boosting mental and physical strength.  With the experience of Coach Kubi and his staff, we plan to build a climbing team that fosters a life long passion for climbing and having FUN!

Team is also a “loose” term as we do not compete as a team rather we focus on the longevity of climbing and outdoor pursuits.  We like to use climbing as another tool for the kids to enhance their well being.  With that being said if your child is interested in competing in climbing we have the resources to help them out / point them in the right direction.

The gym is reserved for team members only during team practice hours, no distractions from the general public.  The gym is entirely closed to all the members during team times.  This ensures the most high quality and focused practice possible.

Youth Feeder Program

Wednesdays 5-6 PM

Is your child New to climbing and interested in our team?  Is the two day a week commitment too  much?  Or are you looking to join in the middle of our team trimester?

The feeder program was put in place to introduce kids to climbing and to Summit before taking the larger commitment of the two day a week team.  What ever your kids situation may be, the feeder program is likely the place to start so we can assess where to go from there.

This runs on a monthly enrollment and we welcome new kids on the first Wednesday of the month.  If possible shoot us a message if you plan on coming in for that first Wednesday practice.  The first practice is a free no commitment trial.
