Youth Climbing Team

Summit offers the best team environment for kids to learn, grow, and perform, no matter their current ability or age.  During practice, kids work with peers to improve their climbing movement,  fitness and problem solving skills. They also become part of a group that’s inclusive and focused on boosting mental and physical strength.

Our youth climbing team is not a competitive team as we do not go to climbing competitions.   Instead, we have a strong focus on making the sport of climbing a livelong sustainable activity that the kids can enjoy beyond aging out of our program.  It is a tool to supplement our love for outdoor adventure.  With the experience of coach Kubi and his staff, we plan to build a climbing team that fosters a life long passion for climbing and having FUN!

The gym is reserved for team members only during team practice hours, no distractions from the general public.  The gym is entirely closed to all the members during team times.  This ensures the most high quality and focused practice possible.

Youth Feeder Program

Wednesdays 5-6 PM

Is your child New to climbing and interested in our team?  Is the two day a week commitment too  much?  Or are you looking to join in the middle of our team trimester?

The feeder program was put in place to introduce kids to climbing and to Summit before taking the larger commitment of team.  What ever your kids situation may be, the feeder program is likely the place to start so we can assess where to go from there.

This runs on a monthly enrollment and you are welcome to drop in on the first Wednesday of any month. Prior to coming if you could give us a heads up that would be great but not necessary.  You could contact us with the form below, or email team@trainclimbsummit.com.
